General Terms and Conditions for participation in one of the online courses at ARABISPEAK

  1. Registration and Payments:
    • The participant must pay the course fee in accordance with the specified payment method and payment instructions.
    • Payment is required to complete the registration and gain access to the course materials.
    • These courses are open exclusively to women!
  2. Cancellation and Refund::
    • Cancellation of registration is not possible after payment of the course fee.
    • In exceptional cases of force majeure, there may be room for negotiation regarding a refund; such cases are assessed on an individual basis, subject to specific evidence.
  3. Course materials:
    • The participant is granted access to the course material as described in the course description.
    • The course material is for personal use only and may not be distributed or reproduced without prior written permission.
    • Participants are required to keep their cameras on during the class.
  4. Course Quality:
    • The provider will make every effort to offer high-quality course content and instruction that meets the participant’s reasonable expectations.
    • However, the provider reserves the right to modify the course content and schedule if necessary.
  5. Privacy and Data Protection:
    • The participant’s personal data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
    • The participant consents to the collection and use of personal data for administrative purposes and course-related communication.
  6. Liability:
    • The provider is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in the course.
    • Participants are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning process.
  7. Intellectual Property:
    • All intellectual property rights regarding the course materials remain the property of the provider.
    • Copying, distributing, or reproducing course material without prior written permission is prohibited.
  8. Leave Policy and Absence:
    • The instructor is entitled to a 14-day leave period. Students will be notified of this leave period in advance. During this time, students will be provided with homework packets for independent study.
    • In the event of absence, the instructor will provide advance notice, followed by the scheduling of a make-up lesson by mutual agreement.
  9. Changes to General Terms and Conditions:
    • The provider reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions, subject to prior notice to the participants.
  10. Possible Adjustments during Ramadan:
    • During the month of Ramadan, class times and days may differ from the standard schedule. We aim to be flexible and understanding regarding students’ needs during this special period.
    • During Ramadan, the frequency of classes is reduced from once a week to once every two weeks, unless otherwise agreed. This adjusted schedule is implemented to accommodate the specific circumstances of this month.
